I don’t watch television (I don’t even have a connected television) but a friend sent me this excerpt from Keith Olbermann’s show on MSNBC (Cable news) I gather that he is the evening news anchor.
I listened to this on-air editorial almost with awe, because of its honesty and passion, which yet retained its balance and sanity.
These are dark times, but it made me feel better to know that at least one journalist is able and willing to say such truths to power. He quoted Murrow at the end of his piece, but watching him say it was eerily like watching Murrow again, 50 years on.
