Gentle soul, lover of natural beauty, wonderful sense of humor, intelligent businesswoman, great listener of my wild stories along the planes of the supernatural I miss you, Laurie, although I know you have left this place of pain for a much safer and more promising one. I am sure that it is both exciting and challenging and that you will be enjoying the company of many fine souls. As always, go in peace and joy. Don,

I had the pleasure of doing a program with Laurie, and got to know here well over the years. It is hard to believe she has gone on ahead. Sigh. That too is a part of life.

We all of us get round trip tickets when we come into this world. We often forget that and stuff the return ticket into the sock drawer, only to be rudely reminded years later that the time to complete our journey home has come. Sweet journeys liebling.

Laurie

Free - finally free - to soar among the stars
To finally reach that far horizon and more

Free from the bonds and bounds we share
To move beyond life's final door

Laurie dear - we will miss you so
Yet I know we will see you yet again

As we follow you in your fathers journey
Beyond this time to another when

We shall all know the greater truth
Of all that is and ever was

To revel in the greater glory and mystery
With better answers than - because

To truly see beyond the great veil
Unfetered by physical restraints

To joyously celebrate our lives
Ne'er more knowing physical complaints

Sharing love in ways we can only imagine
Knowing - really knowing one anothers hearts

Until we meet again in that great beyond
Where all are one, never really having been apart

Go swift upon your journey
Far out beyond the stars

You carry all our hearts with you
No matter where you are.

I only met laurie once at a weekend seminar she gave at the Rhine Research Center this spring. She was an exceptional and passionate person you could not help but like after talking to her for two minutes. Although I only experienced her for those two days I know everyone of us that were in that class will miss her very much. I feel what I learned from her in two days will last me a life time.
