Here's one you missed - polyamory. Not recognized as a big issue, yet how many people are adulterers? A lot of people are, in all classes of society. Maybe even more people than are homosexual, or having abortions. Yet it's not on the table as an issue worthy of debate - loving more than one person - is not even in the public consciousness - and yet how often is it in the news that someone was murdered because of jealousy, someone loving someone else, or wanting out of a monogamous relationship. The institution of marriage between men and women is challenged by the advent of the homosexual union - but why isn't the concept of monogamous marriage itself being challenged? How many people are secretly having affairs, and when they are caught and given their scarlet letter by the press and societal etiquette police, where are the protests by the thousands of all the other closet adulterers, coming to the defense of the luckless victim?
