Gripping. Enlightening. Breath-taking. I read this book in less than 2 days because it piqued my curiosity of the "unknown". Instead of separating life from death it made me consider the possibility of the two on a parallel track, truly having communication between each other. I have read much on the subject but never from this vantage point: a fact driven reporter grounded by her journalistic instincts exploring the theories of after life. This falls in her lap and her background naturally follows the information down a path that I couldn't believe. Many credible sources and not someone trying to make readers, believers...just a shared experience. After I read the last page and put this down, I felt like I had been given a gift: never viewing death as the end. A must read, especially for anyone who has lost someone close to them.
