I'm glad to see this excellent book back in publication. First published in 2005, this new edition is much more attractive, both in size and cover design. Missing are Chapters 17 and 18 of the first edition that documented John Merrell's loss of a court case in which Renier sued him for slander. It was Merrell who stopped the first edition, not wanting the public to know that a "professional skeptic" had been found gulity of slandering a proven psychic. As with any psychic there are hits and misses, but Reneir just gets better as time passes, and this book documents some of her more spectacular hits. Readers will be much more enthralled with the two new cases added to this edition that replace the Merrell trivia. Particulary interesting is the new chapter on the Laci Peterson case that gained national attention. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the real thing.
