The Drugging of America-30 Million Americans Take Prozac
More Americans Have Depression than Coronary Heart Disease

Why are so many Americans depressed and what can we do about it? Over 60% of all people who die by suicide suffer from major depression. More Americans suffer from depression than coronary heart disease (7 million), cancer (6 million), and AIDS (200,000). Depression and mood disorders have reached epidemic proportions.  And it can affect anyone at any time.

We all know someone taking Prozac, we may even be taking it ourselves.  While in some cases of chronic, severe depression, medication can be a lifesaver, for the most part, we are over-medicating ourselves. Prozac has severe side effects and doesn’t address the root causes of depression. With 30 Americans taking Prozac including teens and children, we must find a safer, better way. Isn’t it time we stopped being depressed, and started feeling better?

She addresses topics such as in her new book The Natural Medicine Guide to Depression:

 Root Causes and Symptoms of DepressionThe
 Diet and Depression
 CranioSacral Therapy
 Acupuncture
 Heavy Metal Toxicity
