All The World’s a Stage
By: Dennis Weaver

Over the past five decades Dennis Weaver has appeared in stage, television, and motion picture productions, working with many of Hollywood’s greats, including Orson Welles and Steven Spielberg.  Versatile and prolific, he has brought to both the large and small screen unforgettable characters that continue to live in the hearts and minds of his fans. Now, in All The World’s a Stage, his autobiography, Weaver reflects on a long life in the world of arts and entertainment. However, this memoir is not only a tribute to the business he loves but is also a personal and spiritual story of a man who has been unwavering in his passion and commitment to creating a better world.

Though millions recognize Weaver for his roles in the long-running television series Gunsmoke and McCloud, the most important work of his life has been away from the camera. Since the early 1980’s, he has dedicated himself to serving humanity and the environment. A cofounder of the non-profit organization Love is Feeding Everyone (L.I.F.E.), Dennis Weaver received the Presidential End Hunger Award in 1986.

Now, Weaver shares the story of his life—his childhood and military years, his career as an entertainer, and his more recent success as a spokesperson and role model for social and environmental concerns. His ultimate goal: to remind us that only through collective spiritual growth, and understanding the interrelationship of all living systems, will humanity consciously step forward to preserve the world for future generations.
