Thank you for your inquiry. Please send a proposal only, i.e. cover letter, author credentials, synopsis, chapter-by-chapter outline, and one or two sample chapters. We prefer electronic submissions sent as a WORD attachment. Send electronic copies to: If you send a “hard copy” proposal it must be typed or computer generated; we cannot and will not read handwritten manuscripts, faxed, or web-based submissions. A CD accompanying a proposal is fine. Floppy disks will not be opened. As of February 1, 2006, paper submissions will not be returned. Do not send an SASE or postage. Do not send original artwork or manuscripts. However, we welcome artwork submissions which should include small sample copies of your work, not originals. At the moment we are not accepting submissions for the Young Spirit children’s line. Finally, be aware that we and all publishers have an enormous number of proposals to read and that it is not unusual for the process to take many months. Your patience is appreciated. Your cover letter should contain your complete contact information including phone number, street and email address.
